Our District has always been centered around our Campground in Century Fl. The churches within the District would rally there each year for camp meeting. Portland was too far away for our churches to travel there for Camp Meeting, so Rev Pearl Lockett, Sr. requested of Portland for us to have a camp meeting in Century Fl. It was approve and Rev. Pearl Lockett was able to acquire the land across the street from where he lived. That is our current Campmeeting location.
Many times my heart grew heavy because I knew what I did was wrong, and I wanted a way out, but I had no one to tell me the way out.
